Story maps have become all the rage in the past year. However, many story maps fall short of conveying a story because they lack a narrative element. I created this small story map as a part of my presentation "Where's the Story?" at the 2014 Kentucky GIS Conference. Created using a non-ESRI template, this story map seeks to use various stages of historic transportation development as a narrative thread for introducing the cities of Scott County, Kentucky.
