These maps are a sample of a set of over 30 maps I collaborated with Ate Poorthuis to create for Dutch economist Dr. Pieter Tordoir.
Drawing on social flow data from the Dutch Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek, Dr. Tordoir used the maps we created to suggest new ways of grouping Dutch municipalities and counties for better governance.
